No. 10 Texas Tech dropped San Diego State 7-2 in game three to sweep all three games from the Aztecs, completing their fourth straight weekend series sweep.

Texas Tech (29-9, 11-1 Big 12) continued their hottest start since 1999, also winning their fifth straight weekend series. Tech is also riding a nine-game winning streak.

The Raiders have now won five out of their last six games against San Diego State (10-23, 4-8 Mountain West).

Texas Tech scored at least one run in five out of their eight trips to the plate. 

Tech had five different batters drive in a run on the afternoon. 

The Red Raiders will return to action on Tuesday, April 19 when they travel to play a two-game midweek set against New Mexico in Albuquerque. First pitch for Tuesday night’s matchup is set for 7 p.m. CT
