Each year, half a million people across America come together to raise money and to make an impact in their communities. Businesses, families, high schools and college organizations work together to raise money and increase community awareness. To show our appreciation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock will host a celebratory bowling party on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Whitewood Lanes from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Complimentary bowling, food and games will be provided. All the proceeds raised by the event directly benefits our agency and contributions are tax deductible.

“We chose the “Calling all Superheroes” theme because no matter how someone chooses to be involved whether as a bowler or sponsor, each person has a hand in helping start a child on the right path,” said Selena Mendoza, Marketing Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock.

Participants recruited teams of four and set fundraising goals to aid in recruiting and training mentors, serving families in need and raising community awareness of the challenges faced by local children.
