Sunday afternoon, a balloon was found in a cemetery in Eaton, Ohio

The balloon read “Hello, all the way from Cisco, TX”.

An Eaton, Ohio resident posted the picture of the balloon in hopes of finding the person who released it.

Thanks to social media, the woman who found it and the girl who released it have been united.

The girl who released the balloon is an 8th grade cheerleader at Cisco Junior High, Avery Lewis.

Avery’s mother said that she came home on Friday with a balloon that she was given for varsity cheerleading tryouts, and said she wanted to write a message and let it go.

She did exactly that. Before the balloon finally left Cisco, it got stuck in 2 trees, but as you can see, it had quite the journey.

Cisco is around 948 miles from Eaton, Ohio.
