The Lady Chaps looked to extend their winning streak Friday as the took on Angelo State at home.
The Lady Chaps got to a quick start over the Rams as the ended the first quarter up 30-7. Angelo State started making a comeback in the second scoring 20 points to LCU’s 28, but the damage had already been done. The Lady Chaps maintained their lead and then some breaking the century mark and beating Angelo Sate 101-72.
The women’s basketball team advance to Sunday’s South Central Regional Championship game.
