The Levelland Lobos took on Silsbee in the 4A state semifinals on Friday at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio. This was the Lobos first trip to the state tournament since 1952.
The Lobos got off to a rough start, turning the ball over in their first four possessions. The Lobos went into the locker room at halftime trailing 46-23. In the second half, they tried to fight back, but Silsbee was too much as they would win 89-47.
The Lobos finish the year 25-12.
