Things are starting out cloudy on this Tuesday. There are departing showers & a few thunderstorms in the Rolling Plains. Those are moving to the northeast and away from us. The clouds will stick around for the day, but we will still see highs in the low 70s. Some thunderstorms will return to the area by this evening.
Overnight, into the morning hours Wednesday, we will begin to see some showers & thunderstorms come into the Rolling Plains. This will stay mainly rain for the duration of Wednesday across the South Plains. We will see showers for several hours, which is what we desperately need. There could be some minor flooding of roads, so be careful driving.
