The Levelland Police department on Monday released details of a marijuana growing operation.

Police said, “The Criminal Investigation detectives were conducting a warrant search of a residence at 403 12th Street in Levelland, Tx. looking for stolen electronics and guns.”

Police said officers found a marijuana operation.

“Jazmine Rosel 26 and Jesus Zendejas 26 both from California were arrested for Possession of Marijuana (greater than 4 ounce and less than 5 pounds) in a Drug Free Zone,” police said.

Police said officers confiscated marijuana plants, and all equipment used to grow the plants.

In addition to the marijuana charge, Zendejas was held Monday in the Hockley County Jail for Aggravated Sexual Assault.  His bonds totaled $55,000.

Rosel was not listed in jail records on Monday.
