The dry line is going to move well east of Lubbock this afternoon. The focus for thunderstorms, some severe, will be in Cottle, King, Kent and Scurry Counties. Golf ball, to tennis ball size hail is possible, along with 60-70 mph wind in any storm. Tornadoes are not likley this afternoon/evening for our area. Lubbock is going to be sunny and dry with a high temperature of 86°. The severe threat moves south of I-20 for tomorrow, so we will catch a break. Expect to see increasing clouds with 10-15 mph wind on Thursday. A cold front will drop Lubbock’s high down to 73°.
