A sunny Saturday across the South and Rolling Plains today. The heat just keeps on coming! We saw some triple digit highs in the Eastern and Southern counties, but a high of 95 in Lubbock.  Mostly clear conditions continue for the rest of our night and into Sunday. UV index will be high in the peak hours of the day from 11am until 4pm, so make sure to keep your sunscreen close by if you are outdoors.

By Monday night and into Tuesday, we may see some isolated showers and storms through the South and Rolling Plains, but those rain chances will mainly stay up North as a weak cold front stalls near Amarillo. If we are affected, there could be some isolated activity, but temperatures may only drop a few degrees into the low 90s.

Enjoy the rest of your night!
