The Buddy Holly Center is eager to present Outlier as part of Summer Showcase, the weekly Thursday night concert series held in the Meadows Courtyard. On July 9, 2015, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Outlier will entertain the audience with Blues, Metal, Country, and Latin music. The concert is FREE and open to the public. A cash bar, beverages and food will be available for purchase. Please, no outside beverages allowed.
Fresh off a European tour, Outlier has performed all around the world and has weekly performances around the Lubbock area. The members of Outlier, Anthony Garcia and Melanie Lenau, met in South Korea where they began performing for live audiences. Their first self-titled album came out in 2013 and is available on iTunes. This album contains three songs that were listed in New Slang’s Top 100 Lubbock songs of 2013. Their second album, Outlier – Live from Berlin, is a collection of songs they recorded in a Berlin café and is available for purchase through their website. (http://www.outlier-music.com/)
