LUBBOCK, Texas – You didn’t dream it. Texas Tech really did beat Michigan State on Saturday night in the Final Four for a chance to play Monday night in the NCAA men’s basketball national championship game.
Having beat the Spartans by a score of 61 – 51, Tech will now face the Virginia Cavaliers inside U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
What’s it like to win a national championship? We asked Steve Gomez who coached the Lubbock Christian University women’s team to a national championship (more than once actually).
Bryan Mudd and Eric Kelly reported live in studio while David Collier and Wes Rapaport reported live with the Red Raiders in Minneapolis.
