Three fire departments responded to a report of a cornflour plant on fire in North Lubbock Friday evening.
Crews were called out after 6:30 p.m. to the Molinos Anahuac plant near the 300 block of E Insurance Street, north of Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.
EverythingLubbock.com has learned that part of the building’s insulation caught fire inside the facility.
Lubbock Fire Rescue teamed up with New Deal Volunteer Fire Department and Idalou VFD to put the fire out.
There was no indication at the scene that anyone was injured.
