Fourteen college students in the Lubbock area have been selected by Chick-fil-A to receive the Leadership Scholarship totaling in $35,000. Chick-fil-A announced the names on Tuesday.

Chick-fil-A said it invested in the dreams and futures of its employees since 1973, and 46 years later, that investment has not stopped.

Rodney Bullard, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Chick-fil-A and Executive Director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation, said “Chick-fil-A Team Members provide incredible service to our restaurant guests every day, but we know their commitment to excellence extends far beyond those four walls,” said Bullard.

Bullard said, “Many Team Members work part of full-time while also pursuing their education and serving in their communities. And that’s why we award team Team Member scholarships – we want to help these emerging leaders achieve their educational dreams and create their own remarkable futures.”
