The Lady Raiders broke a three-game skid to defeat Kansas 54-44, and notch their second win in Big 12 play.

Texas Tech now improves to (11-10, 2-8) on the season. 

The Lady Raiders were led in scoring by freshman point guard Japreece Dean with 21 points on 4-of-13 shooting on the night. Dean was also 8-of-8 from the free throw line and added eight rebounds, one block, and four assists to four turnovers. 

Kansas was led in scoring by freshman forward Tyler Johnson with 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting, along with three rebounds, one block and one turnover.

The Lady Raiders will return to action when they host West Virginia on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 6:00 pm at the United Supermarkets Arena.
