Experts recommend 60 minutes of activity for children and even more for adults. But those experts say kids aren’t getting enough exercise and sometimes, none at all.
“On average kids are in front of some kind of screen up to 7 hours a day,” said Tommy Parris, Director of Covenant’s Lifestyle Center.
So if your New Years Resolution is to get out more and exercise, consider including your kids.
“I think the biggest thing is trying to find something most everyone in the family can enjoy, have fun with it and not make it something you’re dreading to do,” said Parris.
