Centennial Bank proudly announces the donation of a new trailer to Lubbock’s Habitat for Humanity.
Lubbock Regional President of Centennial Bank, Randy Jordan, will proudly present the brand new trailer, valued at $6,000 to Lubbock’s Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:30am. The presentation will take place at the Habitat offices located at 2910 Avenue N, Lubbock, TX 79411. The presentation is closed to the public, but the media is welcomed and encouraged to attend.
“We are so proud of the great work that Lubbock Habitat for Humanity is doing in our community – offering a hand up and giving hope to people who desperately need help right here in our backyard,” noted Regional President Randy Jordan.
Centennial Bank Chairman, J. David Williams agreed adding, “We have an 80 year history of joining hands with individuals and projects that make our communities great. Having built 128 homes for people in need right here in Lubbock, Habitat for Humanity is a perfect fit for Centennial Bank. This trailer will be a vital tool to empower volunteers who are building tomorrow’s homes in our community and we are proud to help make that a reality.”
Lubbock Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian organization that builds simple, decent, and affordable quality housing for individuals and families with low to moderate income. Over the past 28 years, Lubbock Habitat for Humanity has built 128 homes, providing shelter for over 337 adults and children. Habitat’s homeownership program is not a hand-out, but a hand-up.
