Accident on South loop and University involves police officer

LUBBOCK, Texas — A police vehicle was involved in a traffic accident Sunday evening on the South Loop at University Avenue.

Police said the accident occurred on the 2400 block of the loop with Eastbound access. Injuries are described as moderate at this time.
