The following is a press release from the City of Lubbock:
Beginning Monday morning, March 25, Lone Star Dirt and Paving, under contract with the City of Lubbock, will begin maintenance work on 74th Street and Utica Ave.
The scope of this project is to replace the existing asphalt paving with concrete paving. For construction of the new pavement, 74th Street and Utica Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from March 25 until April 8, 2019, depending on weather and construction. Motorists are urged follow the detour signs or find alternate routes.
