KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 3.21.19.

TODAY: Clouds move in from the west today, leaving areas west of I-27 cloudy with low 60s. Lubbock and the central South Plains will make it to the mid to upper 60s. 70s will be found east into the Rolling Plains.  

TONIGHT: A few showers are possible overnight along the Texas and New Mexico state line, which will likely dissipate before moving east of I-27. Temperatures will be mild in the 40s and overcast conditions are expected.

TOMORROW: Friday will be cloudy with highs in the low 60s. There is a 40% chance of rain, more so in the late afternoon into the overnight hours. Some storms may be stronger, with small hail and heavy rain. The overall severe weather threat remains low.

THIS WEEKEND: The sky clears out Saturday afternoon and 70s are in the forecast all weekend long! Plan some outdoor activities in this spring feeling weather!
