Wednesday morning’s severe storms packed a punch and caused some rescues in the town of Snyder.

The Snyder Volunteer Fire Department, said rescues were underway due to flipped over trailer’s on the city’s north end at about 1 a.m.

Officials said no serious injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service in Midland said crews will be headed out on Wednesday morning to determine if the damage was caused by a tornado or straight line winds.

Emergency responders were still going throughout town to locate any other turned-over trailers or additional damage.
