March first is here and we will be feeling very much like spring out there this afternoon. We’re going to see a surge of warm air in west Texas. Lubbock can expect to see sunny skies, with wind at 10-15 mph and a high temperature of 79°. There will be some spots off the Caprock that will hit 80°, or slightly higher. A cold front will begin to affect us by tomorrow afternoon. Skies will be cloudy, with 10-15 mph wind. The clouds will hold our high to 57°.
