Friday is looking to see sunny skies in the afternoon. The wind will be at 10-15 mph, with some gusts reaching 25 mph. We’re actually looking at highs near average for this time of eyar, as Lubbock will reach 61°. There will be some rain showers from midnight-7:00 am Saturday at 20%. After that, skies will clear and wind will be the big problem. Sustained wind Saturday afternoon will be at 45-50 mph, with gusts reaching 65 mph at times. So be careful driving, as we will get blowing dust and dirt out there. The high is going to get to 58°.
