Happy Friday eve!

After a cloudy start to our morning, clouds will move out by this afternoon and temperatures will warm up into the mid 60s. We will see a bit of a breeze from the southeast with winds at 15-20 mph. Western Counties including Parmer, Castro, Bailey, Lamb, Cochran, Hockley, Yoakum, Terry, and Gaines are under an elevated fire risk. Curry and Roosevelt Counties are under critical fire risk.

We continue to track precipitation chances as we head into the weekend. Friday will have a slight chance of scattered showers. More showers look to initiate between late Friday night and early Saturday Morning. Some of these may produce some thunderstorms.

We’ll continue to keep track of these chances and keep you advised.

Have a great Thursday!
