The following is a press release from Floydada Independent School District.
On or about February 14, 2019, the Floydada ISD Administration received a report that an employee at the high school was dressed and behaving irregularly. The employee was immediately interviewed by District Administration and the Floydada Chief of Police. No arrest was made, but the employee was placed on leave and taken home by a school official for the employee’s safety.
The District does not believe that student safety was ever compromised by this incident, and I appreciate the prompt assistance from the Floydada Police Department. The District has taken appropriate corrective action. Privacy laws prohibit the District from disclosing confidential personnel information. Therefore, the District cannot comment further on this matter.
