Children between the ages of 2 and 5 with Autism or developmental delays are twice as likely to experience sleep disorder. The study published in Pediatrics suggested anxiety, difficulty making transitions and melatonin production could be some reasons why.
1 in 5 patients with atherosclerotic heart disease can’t afford to pay the skyrocketing medical bills, according to research from Yale University. The study shows almost 20% of adults with the disease are still unable to pay their medical bills, despite having health insurance.
An article in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology found inappropriate dosing of edible marijuana posed serious health risks for older heart disease patients, that could lead to a stroke or sudden death. The author suggested more education and research on THC levels before consumption.
