The United States generates about 20 percent of the world’s beef supply with a large portion of cattle grazing the plains of West Texas. The National Ranching Heritage Center recently opened the history of beef cattle breeds which allows visitors to see the evolutions of the beef industry. The exhibit will be open for atleast the next year.
