Simce 1956, Plains Cotton Growers has been an advocate for cotton producers across the High Plains. The nonprofit producer organization is made up of cotton growers from 41 counties, all working to tackle the issues producers face in the industry. 

Plains Cotton Growers, has filled a critical role for High Plains cotton producers through helping pass beneficial legislature and making changes to improve growers bottom line. 

Executive Vice President, Steve Verett, said the staff focuses on four areas which are legislation, research, promotion and service.
