The Texas Department of Transportation will make repairs to I-27 between Lubbock and the City of New Deal on Monday, February 4.
According to a TxDOT press release, the repair work will begin on the northbound main lanes between 82nd Street and Municipal Drive. Crews will work north to New Deal before turning around and beginning work on the southbound lanes, TxDOT said.
Delays are expected, and drivers will see single and double lane closures and multiple nighttime lane closures throughout the project, according to TxDOT.
TxDOT said the work is anticipated to continue through June 2019 and will take place while weather permits.
