Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin are making a “friendly wager” on Saturday’s Big 12 Championship game.
In a photo Gov. Fallin posted of the two on Twitter, Gov. Abbott can be seen making a “Horns Up” gesture with his hand, and Gov. Fallin holding up a “Horns Down.”
Gov. Fallin said she is wagering Head County BBQ Sauce from Ponca City, while Gov. Abbott is said to be putting up some Texas BBQ.

The “Horns Down” gesture became a hot topic this week after it was announced by the Big 12 that any Sooners player who flashes the ‘Horns Down’ gesture at the championship matchup between the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas will be penalized.
OU Coach Lincoln Riley spoke about the clarification during a radio show Tuesday, according to SportsTalk 1400AM radio station. He said the Big 12 Conference said the team will get a penalty if they use the gesture.
“Yeah, we can’t do it,” the Oklahoman reported Riley saying. He checked on the rule after West Virginia players were flagged for using the gesture during its game with UT at the beginning of November.
The Longhorns meet the Sooners Saturday, Dec. 1, for the Big 12 Championship Game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
