The following is a news release from High Point Village:
High Point Village is proud to announce the appointment of Anna Lewis to the position of Development Coordinator. Anna has served High Point Village since May of 2015, when she joined the organization as the Enrichment & Outreach Coordinator.
Anna graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development & Family Science and a minor in Public Relations. As the Enrichment & Outreach Coordinator, she was in charge of volunteer activities, summer programs, Afternoon Enrichment classes and the Heatwaves Special Olympics team.
In her new position as Development Coordinator, Anna will primarily be responsible for planning and managing all events, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and seeking out new development opportunities for High Point Village.

“I am honored to be taking on this position,” said Lewis. “I have always had a passion for fundraising and making connections, so I am excited to be able to do it full time. I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am to have the opportunity to work with the most loving, caring, and outgoing Villagers.”
Since the organization has recently experienced a rapid rate of growth, this new position was needed to ensure that High Point’s fundraising efforts are at peak levels to keep up with these developments. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director in an effort to design and implement fundraising strategies to secure broad community support and help High Point Village fulfill its mission.
“Anna has been a tremendous asset to this organization and has been instrumental toward significantly growing our volunteer base and several of our programs,” said Executive Director Doug Spearman. “Her dedication to our mission and her passion for serving our Villager population made her an excellent candidate to fill the new role of Development Coordinator.”
