Hale Co. confirms one new case of coronavirus, 36 recoveries

HALE COUNTY, Texas– On Friday, Hale County and the City of Plainview confirmed one additional case of COVID-19, or coronavirus.

There were 14 active cases of COVID-19, along with 36 recoveries and four deaths, according to the city. That made 54 total cases for Hale County.

Additionally, a total of 623 people were tested in the county with nine pending results and 581 negative results.
