Happy FINALLY FRIDAY everyone! Today has been a sunny and warm day with highs back in the low 90’s. We will watch for another slight chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening but by tomorrow morning sunshine will become abundant yet again and temperatures will rebound back into the upper 90’s and triple digits by Saturday afternoon. This will remain the case throughout the weekend. However, on Sunday evening we are watching for our next cold front to slide into the region, bringing our next chance for rain and drastically dropping temperatures back into the upper 80’s by Monday afternoon. Finally, rain or shine, it is still important to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours! And don’t forget to bring your pets inside during those peak heating hours and keep them hydrated throughout the day.
