The cool front that brought in some rain yesterday is well to the south this morning. We did manage to get some leftover showers in Lubbock and Levelland this morning. Those showers will be gone this morning and the dry weather will make a return this afternoon. We’re looking at a mix of clouds and sunshine with a high of 91° here in Lubbock. Tomorrow will get more sunshine, as skies will be mostly sunny. It is really going to warm up, as Lubbock will make it to 98°, with some triple digit heat in the Rolling Plains.
