We’re going to continue to see the warm air this afternoon. Expect the sunshine to stay, with very few, if any, clouds around the South Plains. A dry line will move east & do its job by keeping the air dry today. The wind will be at 10-15 mph, with a high in Lubbock of 92°. The record high for today is 90°, so we will set a new one for the second day in a row.
Much of the same for Tuesday. The skies will be mostly sunny, the wind is going to be sustained at 10-15 mph. Warmth is going to be the theme for the day, as we will begin at 56°, but we’ll see a high of 94° in Lubbock. The record high for tomorrow is 93°, so it will be three days in a row that we will set new record highs. We’re starting out spring with very warm conditions.
