Police receive phone call, threat of active shooter at Lubbock store

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Police responded to the Home Depot location along West Loop 289 Thursday evening.

LPD said someone called the dispatch center telling police he had a gun and would shoot up the place. Police responded and evacuated both patrons and staff. As of the time of this report, no gunman has been located.

No injuries or arrests have been reported as of this time.
