An article in JAMA Oncology said the confusion is jeopardizing pain management for cancer patients, and called on key agencies to coordinate and streamline their opioid recommendations.
Green tea could help prevent heart attacks and strokes, according to research in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. Scientists said a compound in the tea breaks up dangerous plaques in arteries, which can reduce the flow of blood to the heart and the brain.
Walking faster could be the key to a longer life. Researchers in Australia said walking at a brisk or fast pace reduces the risk of death from any cause by 24%. The study defined a fast pace as three to four miles per hour, or a speed that makes you slightly out of breath.
