The Summer Showcase Concert Series starts on May 24 and goes through August 23 in the Buddy Holly Center Courtyard.
Every Thursday, the courtyard will be open to the public to enjoy live, original music with food trucks, kids activities and a cash bar. Briana Vela, marketing coordinator for the Buddy Holly Center, said the Summer Showcase Concert Series has offered something for every taste in music.
“We give people the chance to go out and see bands they might not normally see or have the chance to listen to,” Vela said. “We like to offer not only local talent, but statewide talent as well.”
The band ‘Element’ will kick off the series on May 24. The concerts are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and they are free and open to the public.
