Once again, we had a complex of showers and thunderstorms in eastern New Mexico trying to move into west Texas. That complex died out, for the most part. There were leftover showers and storms moving into Parmer, Castro, Bailey and Lamb Counties this morning. At least someone is getting some rain that we really need. The rest of the day will see partly sunny skies, with a few storms arriving this evening. Coverage is at 10%, with a high of 86°.

Any storms we see this evening will either not make it too far east, or fizzle out all together. So, we will have coverage at 10% for an isolated storm through 6:00 am. The low tomorrow is going to drop to 65°. There will be fewer clouds across west Texas tomorrow, so we’ll have mostly sunny skies. The wind is going to stay at 10-15 mph. Lubbock will get to a high temperature of 91°. There will be a few storms around at 10%, but I don’t expect much out of these.
