Former Texas Tech football player Duane Toliver will be the new head coach and athletic director at Brownfield High School.  He will be formally introduced on Friday after school board approval.  Toliver comes to Brownfield after two season at Tulia. His first head coaching job came at Los Lunas High School in New Mexico in 2013.  He has served in this capacity at Claude as well.  Toliver played under the late Spike Dykes from 1996 to 1999.  He has been in the coaching profession every since with assistant jobs at Slaton, Shallowater, Lubbock Cooper and Lubbock High to name a few.
