Texas Tech University President Lawrence Schovanec will have an “open forum” at the request of the black student body on Friday (April 20) at 4:00 pm in the Student Union Building Ballroom. All students are invited.
A spokesman for Texas Tech said the university would like to be fully transparent and the news media can attend.

The black student body at Texas Tech University has requested a forum with President Lawrence Schovanec to engage in open dialogue around issues important to and affecting the university’s black student population. This gathering is open to all students and will take place Friday, April 20, at 4 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballroom, Room A.
