Skies are very clear as we get going on this Wednesday. We have no clouds to speak of, as they are west and south of the area at this time. The clear skies will stay today, with much lower wind than we saw on Tuesday. Wind today is going to be sustained at 10-15 mph. So, that is back to normal for these parts. Expect a cool afternoon, with a high temperature reaching 65° here in Lubbock. That is below the average for today.
Overnight, skies will remain clear, but the wind will stay at 10-15 mph at times, especially in the early part of the night. The low by tomorrow morning will only drop down to 46°. Wind is going to be at 10-15 mph through the day on Thursday. Expect to see more sunshine and no clouds out and about. We will see much warmer air, as the wind shifts to the west. The high will make it to 83°.
