An armed suspect allegedly robbed a Family Dollar store around Friday night in Central Lubbock.

The robbery occurred in the 4400 block of 34th Street around 9:15 p.m. Friday. The suspect allegedly robbed the store at gunpoint.

The suspect was described as a male in his 20s, approximately 5’8” and wearing a black hoodie. He was not wearing a mask when he robbed the store, Family Dollar employees told police.

He obtained an undetermined amount of cash, according to emergency traffic, possibly between $200-300.
