Tori Larned’s roots are in San Antonio, but as a military kid, she lived many places growing up. She comes back to Texas ready to make some new memories!

Tori joined KAMC News as a reporter in January 2018.

She attended the University of Virginia, with degrees in biology and cognitive science. She’s a Wahoo for life!

While studying at UVA, Tori anchored and reported for WUVA, the university’s news broadcasting organization. She also traveled up to Washington D.C., working on air at DCW50 and Fox 5 Good Day D.C.

After graduating, Tori interned at CNN News Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. As a journalist for the Health and Medical News Unit, she interviewed incredible minds writing articles for CNN.com. But off the clock, you could usually find her sneaking over to hang with the crew at CNN sports and NBA TV.

If she’s not reporting, Tori’s planning her next adventure somewhere in the world, playing and watching sports, spending time with family and friends, or exploring the outdoors.

Tori is excited to hear from anybody and everybody— whether it’s about a story idea or just to say hello!
