Texas Tech will participate for the fifth-consecutive year in the Texas Rangers’ University Days promotion at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the organization and partner FOX Sports Southwest announced Monday afternoon.
Beginning this Thursday, Red Raider fans can purchase discounted tickets for the May 22 game against the New York Yankees. Discounted tickets can be purchased by visiting www.TexasRangers.com/UDays.
All fans who purchase tickets by March 31 will receive a voucher to receive a red and black Texas Rangers hat. All tickets purchased after the March 31 deadline will receive a hat on a first-come, first-served based on May 22.
Fans must have a specially marked ticket to be eligible. Tickets must be purchased through www.TexasRangers.com/UDays to be eligible for the limited-edition hats.
Texas Tech will be recognized prior to first pitch between the Rangers and Yankees. FOX Sports Southwest will also feature a Tech coach during its live broadcast of the game that night.
