The first full week of the UIL Girls High School Basketball Playoffs came to a close on Friday as eleven more teams joined Idalou in advancing to the Regional Quarterfinals.  Frenship, Plainview, Denver City, Levelland, and Seminole advanced in the large school districts.  Roosevelt joins Idalou along with Sundown, Whiteface, Ropes, Jayton, and Whitharral.  The UIL Girls Regional Quarterfinals begin on Monday February 19.
