Keenan Evans and the seventh-ranked Red Raiders stole the show in Texas Tech’s 88-78 win over No. 23 Oklahoma Wednesday at United Supermarkets Arena.
Evans scores a game-high 26 points and gave Texas Tech the lead for good at 69-66 on his fourth three pointer of the game with 5:59 remaining.
The Red Raiders were able to hold off the Sooners from there, finishing the game on a 22-12 run.
Norense Odiase added 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting.
Oklahoma’s Trae Young scored 19 points and was 0-for-9 from three-point range.
Texas Tech (22-4, 10-3) faces Baylor at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday in Waco.
