Expect to see more cold air as we move into Sunday morning. That front will keep pulling down that cold air from the north. Sunday morning is going to start with a temperature of 19°. The wind will stay at 10-15 mph, so it will feel like the single digits out there. Dress very warm as you head to church. The afternoon is going to remain mostly sunny and breezy. The high will ultimately make it to 43°. That will feel more like the low 30s with the wind at 10-15 mph.
The air will stay very cold Monday morning, as we begin well below freezing yet again. Lubbock can expect to head back to work and school with a temperature of 22°. Stay safe out there, especially at the bus stop. The rest of the day is going to see mostly sunny skies and wind at 10-15 mph. That wind will be out of the south, so highs will be much higher from the weekend. We’ll be near average with the temperature reaching 58° here in Lubbock.
