Texas Tech baseball will try to win its third straight conference title this spring and Big 12 coaches believe the Red Raiders will win it once again.
For the first time since 1999, Texas Tech was selected to win the Big 12 in the preseason coaches’ poll.
The Red Raiders earned five-of-nine first-place votes with second-place TCU earning the other four first-placed votes.
Texas Tech opens 2018 at home at 2 p.m. on Febuary 16 against the Maine Black Bears.
