KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 2.1.18.

TODAY: A cold front moved into the region overnight and will keep temperatures cooler today. Winds will be from the northeast from 10-15 mph. Highs today will be in the 50s. Lubbock will reach a high of 53, while further north towards Plainview, the cold air keeps temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. The sky will be mostly sunny with a few high clouds. 

TOMORROW: The colder air sticks around for Groundhog Day (or Prairie dog Pete Day) with temperatures in the low 50s area-wide. The sun stays out with minimal cloud cover and light winds.
