A Lubbock County grand jury indicted Torivio “Troy” Jimenez, 40, of Lubbock on Tuesday for aggravated sexual assault of a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Police were called to a home in Northwest Lubbock. The mother of two daughters told police that she had been told that Jimenez sexually abused both of them. One of the victims was now an adult but told police she had been sexually abused by Jimenez since she was 12 or 13 years old. She told officers that she had two children by Jimenez and had lied about who the father was.
She told officers she knew for a fact Jimenez was the father of her children because she never had sex with anyone else.
An arrest warrant said, “Jimenez sexually assaulted her approximately 300 times…”
“[Jimenez] had previously threatened to harm her and tie her up if she told anyone what had occurred,” the warrant said.
The other girl didn’t know how many times Jimenez touched her inappropriately, but she told officers it was “quite a bit.”
Jimenez was arrested on November 30 and has been in the Lubbock County Detention Center since that time on bonds totaling $175,000.
